Signing of Memorandum of Understanding For Aviation Human Resources Collaboration

On 28th of January, 2019, Thailand’s Ministry of Transportation in collaboration with Airbus, Senior Aerospace (Thailand), Triumph Aviation Services Asia and Triumph Structures (Thailand), inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the aforementioned parties in an effort to bolster Thailand’s aviation workforce, aircraft parts manufacturing expertise and Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Operations (MRO) capability.

Some of the issues of MOU signed during the ceremony included:

  • • MOU inked between Civil Aviation Training Center and Airbus, a world-renowned Aircraft Original Equipment Manufacturer, under the subject of developing aircraft maintenance personnel in accordance with the standards of European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA Part 147), including ab initio commercial flight training courses for pilots.

  • • MOU inked between Civil Aviation Training Center and Senior Aerospace (Thailand), an aerospace parts manufacturing company with the primary mission of delivering top quality aircraft parts, under the subject of developing curriculum and providing training in regards to design and manufacturing of aircraft parts, while cooperating in supporting and promoting research and development of technologies for improved manufacturing techniques.
The signing of the MOU is a direct enactment of the government’s policy aiming to accelerate development in the burgeoning aviation industry in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), increasing its competitiveness and stimulating economic growth.
